Following the recent withdrawl and scrapping of the Great Northern class 313 units, there is only 1 place left to see class 313s – on the Southern Railway network.
You can see Southern Class 313s on the Brighton to Seaford services, and quite often the Bognor Regis to Barnham and Brighton to Hove shuttle services. They also tend to work Brighton to West Worthing services and in some cases, Littlehampton to Portsmouth & Southsea trains. Occasionally, you may find the odd runs-as-required working from Lovers Walk to Selhurst TRSMD for attention. Southern’s 313201 is running in original BR black/blue and grey livery which tends to usually be found on the West Coastway, but can sometimes end up on Seaford services.
