See Vintage 1938 London Underground Tube Stock In London This Weekend

London Transport Museum will be running the vintage 1938 tube stock train on the London Undergorund network this Sunday 24th February.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see the Class 483 1938 Tube Stock historic London Underound train on the District, Circle, Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines this weekend. Due to signalling upgrades on the Circle and District lines, this will be one of the last heritage runs on this part of the network.

There will be two extensive trips around the London Underground network this Sunday, journey 1 from Ealing Broadway to Moorgate, and Joruney 2 from Moorgate to Ealing Common.

The train will be formed of 1938 stock train 746, composed of 4 coaches.

Full timings below. The London Underground reporting system does not work in the same way as overground UK trains, so live train times are unavailable for this rail tour. Please note that these timings are estimates and the train may run early/late depending on operational requirements.

The 1938 tube stock is the same railway stock that is used on the Isle of Wight. The Class 483 1938 Tube Stock recently turned 80 years old.
