Hi , 0657 Plymouth to Paddington was 43002 (the blue and yellow one) named Kenneth Grange (designer of this train series) , along with green one 43198 named Driver Stan Martin, all people who worked on the railways. Hope this helped.
Yeah it’s not cheap unfortunately. I’ll be going to see it just because I’ve never seen it before, also interested in seeing the 33 + 20s at Marylebone later this year.
Hi Owen, the farewell Railtour is on June 1st not June 8th. Timings are available on this post 🙂 I think ticket price was around £150 but i cannot be certain. Thankyou for reading
Very sad sight. I went past yesterday and they were already working on clearing the land. I think the train wash and one HST sheds with the black exhaust marks on the top front of shed was still standing. Very big sidings behind it with lots of Crossrail class 345s stored.

Hello, thank you for getting in touch and sorry to hear you weren’t able to catch it 🙁 I can see there was one HST at 18:44 not 19:44 at Newbury as on the below link: https://www.rail-record.co.uk/rail/liverail/train/1998119/18/05/19
Nice one Jeff, wouldn’t mind a trip on the Brighton Belle upon its return.
