Newhaven Town Railway Station sees bi-weekly trains to Newhaven Marine aggregates terminal. Trains typically formed of JNA boxes, but can also be formed of HHA hoppers.
Trains run empty into Newhaven Marine, via Newhaven Harbour, and then run loaded back to Acton, or Hither Green amongst other destinations (Crawley, Hoo, Neasden etc).
The flow is operated by DB Cargo, usually using a class 66.
Other than the bi-weekly marine trains (which should increase in regularity at some point), other stock includes Southern class 313 and 377 units working Brighton to Seaford services.
MPVs and loco-hauled RHTTs are common during the autumn months.
