GN Class 717 Delivery Dates

All 25 Great Northern Class 717 EMUs have now been delivered, with the final delivery having been made on 31st January 2019. Deliveries were made following arrival into Dollands Moor, running 6X71 to Ferme Park Reception Sidings.

This completes the TL/GN class 717 deliveries, following the recent Thameslink Class 700 deliveries to Three Bridges and Ferme Park depots.

Since their deliveries, and lack of space due to GN Class 313 operations still continuing, the GN class 717s have entered storage at West Worthing Sidings, Dollands Moor and Ferme Park.

The full list of Great Northern class 717 deliveries can be found below. The delivered units are shown in bold preceded by their delivery date, followed by the GBRf class 66 locomotive that delivered them.

Great Northern Class 717 have now entered service, and as a result, the ageing class 313s are being scrapped.
